Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, is reportedly battling stage 4 cancer.
The development came to public attention after his daughter, Kira Taiwo, made an emotional appeal on social media seeking medical advice and possible treatment options for her father.
According to Kira, doctors treating the actor have reportedly said they can no longer administer chemotherapy due to his current condition. The family is therefore seeking alternative treatment options, including specialised medical procedures and other forms of treatment.
She clarified that the family is not seeking financial assistance but is appealing to anyone with useful information about possible treatment options to come forward.
In an emotional social media post, Kira appealed to members of the public who may know of a doctor, specialist or treatment that could help her father.
The family has urged anyone with credible information that could assist in his treatment to contact Kira or her sister, Lima Taiwo.
