The University of Jos has released the long awaited admission list
for prospective students who chose the institution as the first choice
in the 2015 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board’s UTME examination.
The university had held its post UTME exercise in September 2015 and
ever since, applicants had waited with bated breaths, wondering when the
list will be released.
The over three months indefinite strike action embarked upon late
October by the Academic Staff Union od University, Unijos Branch,
further helped in delaying the release of the list.
Applicants had waited while many remained in a fix on whether to buy
the JAMB forms for the 2016 examinations, or exercise faith with the
hope that they would be favoured when the 2nd list sees the light of the
day. Many resorted to registering for the 2016 examination.
The University had released the first list, otherwise referred to as
JAMB Merit list late last year, and many applicants were hopeful that
they’ll be favoured in the second list.
