Two Stabbed To Death in Niger State Family Dispute Over Traditional Title

At least two people have been confirmed dead following a violent clash triggered by a family dispute over a traditional title in Gbajibo village, Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident in a post on X on Sunday, revealing that the deadly altercation occurred on Friday, October 3, 2025, after an argument between 30-year-old Iliyasu Umar Sayidi and 25-year-old Ahmadu Isah, both residents of Bukka village, escalated.

According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation turned physical, with both men stabbing each other with daggers and sustaining severe injuries.

They were rushed to the General Hospital in Jebba, where medical personnel confirmed them dead on arrival.

Police operatives later visited the scene, took photographs of the bodies, and deposited them at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.

The case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.
