Two siblings who were abducted from their home in Bonny, Rivers State, have regained their freedom and reunited with their parents.
The children were reportedly kidnapped from their residence along Abalamabie Road on October 14, 2026.
Their release was confirmed in a video that went viral on Facebook on Sunday, October 25, showing their father, Warisenibo Jeremiah Jim-Halliday, welcoming them back.
In the footage, Jim-Halliday is seen embracing both children as they alight from a white Toyota Hilux van along the Bodo-Bonny Road.
The emotional reunion has drawn attention online, bringing relief following days of uncertainty over the children’s whereabouts.
As of the time of reporting, the family had yet to issue an official statement on the children’s release. Details surrounding the circumstances of their freedom and whether any ransom was paid have also not been disclosed.
