President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the relocation of 29 Correctional Centres from urban areas to new locations.
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced the development on Friday during a press conference in Abuja.
He stated that the move aims to enhance security and decongest city centres.
