A TikToker has drawn public attention to the distressing case of a teenage girl, identified simply as Adamma, who is mentally and physically challenged and has become pregnant under unclear circumstances.
In a video shared online, the visibly pregnant teen—who struggles to walk and speak—was seen sitting in a modest, rundown room.
According to her guardians, who share a single-room home with her, they suspect Adamma was assaulted while bathing at the backyard of their public compound. However, they could not say for certain who was responsible.
Due to her condition, Adamma is unable to communicate effectively to identify the perpetrator. The TikToker, who filmed and shared the video, questioned what kind of man would take advantage of such a vulnerable person.
She later took the teenager to a hospital to ensure she received medical care.
Meanwhile, concerned Nigerians have called on security agencies to investigate the case and bring the culprit to justice.
