Three persons in Kurra Falls Ward, Gashish District of Barkin Ladi
LGA, Plateau State have been reportedly killed by gunmen suspected to be
Fulani Herdsmen who violently attacked the community shooting
sporadically.
Two namely Mr. Dawalang Davou and Humphrey Augustine Davou were killed yesterday Friday 1st June, 2018.
Another Iliya Doro was killed this morning.
It would be recalled that Viewpoint Nigeria on 29th May, 2018
reported the killing of two persons, Sylvester Ishaya and Geoffrey
Andrew Jangwok who were brutally murdered in Kakuruk Ward of same
Gashish District.
Viewpoint also reported the attack on the Paramount Ruler of Gashish
who narrowly escaped assassination but his residence and car were
completely burnt down.
Natives who contacted Viewpoint Nigeria said they have been living in
fear as the attacks and killings have constantly continue unabatedly.
They said gunmen go about with dangerous weapons without any form of arrest or prosecution.
They are urging the security personnel there to redouble their
efforts to curb the ongoing killings despite their presence in the
locality.
