The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost three of its members in the House of Representatives from Kaduna State to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmakers — Aliyu Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau Federal Constituency), Abdulkareem Ahmed (Kaduna South Federal Constituency), and Sadiq Abdullahi (Sabon Gari Federal Constituency) — officially announced their defection to the ruling party on Tuesday.
Their letters of defection were read by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu during plenary.
The move comes on the same day Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah also joined the APC alongside several political figures from the state.
