Nigeria Police Force, Delta State command has been thrown into
mourning following the death of Ughelli Area Commander, ACP Usman
Danbaba in an undisclosed hospital, just two days after he was shot by
some unknown gunmen.
It was gathered that the Senior Police Officer was allegedly shot
dead near the palace of the Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom along Otovwodo in
Ughelli Town at about 8pm on Sunday.
No one could provide detailed information as to the movement of the Area Commander when the incident occurred.
It could also not be ascertained if the Area Commander moved with orderly at the time of the incident and as at press time.
