No fewer than ten victims of the recent herdsmen attack in Otobi Akpa community, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, were laid to rest on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in a solemn mass burial service marked by deep sorrow and mourning.
The tragic attack took place on April 15, 2025, leaving the community devastated. The mass burial is currently being held at Methodist Primary School in Otobi Akpa.
Addressing the bereaved families during the ongoing burial, the Chairman of Otukpo LGA, Maxwell Ogiri, described the day as the saddest in the history of the community.
