Reality TV star and entrepreneur, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has made history by breaking two Guinness World Records in the field of makeup artistry.
According to the Guinness World Records official website, Tacha now holds the record for the most cosmetic makeovers in eight hours and in twenty-four hours, achieving an outstanding 82 makeovers in 8 hours and 144 makeovers in 24 hours.
Her achievement surpasses the previous record set by Sierra Leone’s Mary Yongai, making Tacha the first Nigerian to hold two Guinness World Records in one attempt.
Celebrating the feat on Instagram, Tacha expressed gratitude to God, her late mother, her team, and her dedicated fanbase, the Titans, for their unwavering support throughout the challenge.
“FIRST NIGERIAN TO BREAK 2 RECORDS AT A GO!!! GOD DID IT!!! My Messiah DID IT!!! My mummy in heaven, you did it! I felt you holding my shoulders when my knees were shaking,” she wrote.
Tacha also praised her team and assistant makeup artists for their endurance, saying, “When the lights went out, you stayed. When the pressure got loud, you listened. When I snapped, you understood the assignment. We didn’t just work — we warred.”
Addressing her fans, she added, “When the world wrote me off, when I was blacklisted for being real, you held me up. You prayed, you posted, you defended. You made me your project and refused to let me quit.”
Concluding her emotional post, Tacha encouraged dreamers never to give up, saying her story proves that “God still writes wild stories.”
She also hinted at a grand celebration ahead of her birthday, declaring herself the “fastest makeup artist in the world.”
