A Paris-based event promoter has accused Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel of failing to show up for a scheduled performance despite receiving full payment for the event.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the promoter alleged that the artist, who was paid €80,000 (about ₦135 million), refused to perform after making a series of additional demands on the day of the show.
According to him, Kizz Daniel first requested an extra €5,000 to cover his flight ticket, which was provided, but later missed the flight and demanded an additional €2,000, which was also paid.
The promoter further claimed that upon arriving in Paris, the singer refused to leave his hotel unless he was served seafood and insisted on being driven in a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover instead of the van that had been arranged for him.
“Kizz Daniel insisted on having seafood before heading to the venue and threatened to leave the hotel if his demand wasn’t met. Even after arranging a van, he refused to use it, demanding a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover instead,” the promoter said.
Despite all efforts, the singer reportedly arrived late and did not perform. The promoter has since called on the public to demand that Kizz Daniel refund the payment.
“I am asking everyone to urge him to refund my money. He arrived late and didn’t perform after collecting €80,000. The refund must happen immediately,” he said in the video.
As of the time of this report, Kizz Daniel or his management team had yet to issue an official response to the allegations.
