Bodies of 8 persons who lost their lives in an accident yesterday
along Lagos – Ibadan
Express way while on a mission to represent Kano in the National Quiz
Competition in Lagos, arrived Kano this evening. The students and bodies
were received at Kano International Airport by the State Governor,
Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and other state officials.
Information available indicated that 3 students of Unity School Karaye
and 3 from Kano Kapital as well as a driver and coordinator of
competition lost their lives in the accident. A total of 8
persons lost their lives: 6 students and two officials while 5 students
sustained some degree of injuries.
