In a momentous achievement for Nigerian football and women’s football on the global stage, Chiamaka Nnadozie, the Super Falcons goalkeeper, is in high spirits as she celebrates her French club, Paris FC, for securing a coveted spot in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage.

Paris FC booked a place in the group stage of the competition for the first time after edging past Wolfsburg of Germany 2-0.

Sandrine Soubeyrand’s side won the final qualifying fixture 5-3 on aggregate.

Nnadozie played a key role in the victory after saving a penalty in the second half.

The 22-year-old took to her X handle to celebrate the historic feat.

Paris FC eliminated Arsenal in the previous round.
