Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to earn a $15,000 bonus for finishing third at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The bonus was initially designated for the semi-final stage, where the Super Eagles lost 4–2 on penalties to host nation Morocco’s Atlas Lions.
According to SCORENigeria, the players have received all other win bonuses, with only the third-place match bonus outstanding.
Meanwhile, Nigerian billionaire businessman Abdul Samad Rabiu has fulfilled his pledged $500,000 reward to the team.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, the players have since returned to their respective clubs and were absent from the medal presentation ceremony held on Sunday.
