The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will begin preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs on Sunday, November 9, in Rabat, Morocco.
Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to unveil his squad list for the mini-tournament next week, as Nigeria gears up to face Gabon’s Panthers in the first semi-final on Thursday, November 13.
The winner of the clash will advance to meet either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the final.
Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will conduct a draw today (Thursday) to determine the match venues, with both the El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat under consideration to host the fixtures.
