Henry Omoregie, a Nigerian man, has taken a trip down memory lane, sharing an old receipt from 1987 as evidence of the strong value of the Nigerian naira during that time.
In the receipt, Omoregie showcased his official payment of N340 for tuition fees at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
He pointed out that during the same period, tuition fees at federal universities were a mere N10.
“340 Naira only. Federal Universities tuition fee was 10 naira only during the same epoch,” he said.
