There was a critical situation yesterday 15th March, 2016 at Ahmadu Bello Way, Jos popularly known as the Computer Village in Jos. One Hezekiah Paul a student of University of Jos was shot dead
yesterday afternoon by a trigger happy DSS officer at Ahmadu Bello way
in Jos. The officers came to arrest one John Dan whose offense was not
disclosed. The late Ezekiah was on Industrial Attachment with Johnson Sky phone company in Ahmadu Bello way Jos.
The deceased who was in the same shop the arrest was to be effected, as the deceased attempted to run, he was gunned down by one of the DSS officers. The STF
officers attached to the JEDC office in Ahmadu Bello way attempted to
question the rationale behind the shooting but were rebuffed by the DSS
officers who took Ezekiah alongside John Dan away.
He was first rushed to Jos University Teaching Hospital JUTH from where
he was transferred to Plateau Hospital where he gave up the ghost.
