
Senator Barnabas Gemade representing Benue North East Senatorial District at the Red Chambers has remobilized work on the road project on Chi/Tsar road in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State which is part of the Vandeikya/Obudu Ranch Resort road project.
The Community Liason Officer (CLO) for Vandeikya/Obudu road project, Mr. Gbihi Tionsha who is overseeing the project said the project was facilitated by Sen. Gemade which was awarded to China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) with its headquaters in Lagos.
Mr. Tionsha said the phase one of the road project connecting Vandeikya to chi has been completed and that work on phase two which is the road connecting Chi to Tsar is expected to be completed before the year ends. As a result of the rainy season, he said specific time for completing the work cannot be stated but will not exceed 2018.
The Kindred Head of Tsar Township, Zaki Saango Shokor thanked Senator Gemade for remobilizing work on the road project saying the road has been an eyesore.
One of the elders in Tsar community, Mr. Kor Dajo applauded Sen. Gemade for remembering the people of Tsar, Mbaduku in his projects and urged him not to forget them after winning 2019 election as they are all working to give him their support in next year’s general election.
Terfa Naswem will follow up the road work and give developing story on the project till when it will be completed.
