A security guard was attacked at his duty post when a group of men arrived at an mtn mast in Rantiya area of Jos Plateau state and tried to steal the generator, See photos of how bad they beat him up…
It was gathered that a group of men came in their numbers in a Peugeot van(J5), at early hours of Monday 23rd May 2016 morning 3am and tried to carry the automatic mikano Generator that powers the mast station. They pretended to be maintenance staff and started their operation, the security guard who on his approach thought they were just a gang of two men confronted them and discovered they were thieves after they had moved the Generator outside the station, a fight started with more men coming out from a hide out to beat him up until he raised an alarm that they ran away when nearby neighbors started coming out to see what was really happening.
