Actress and film producer, Rita Daniels, has expressed joy after finally locating her son, Sammy, who was earlier reported missing following his alleged arrest in Lagos.
It was gathered that Sammy was arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko, who is married to Rita’s daughter, Regina Daniels. The development came amid reports of a marital dispute between the couple.
Regina’s brothers had accused Nwoko of orchestrating Sammy’s arrest and transfer to Abuja, alleging that the police refused to disclose his whereabouts. Both Regina and her other brother, Sweezy, had taken to social media demanding Sammy’s release and accountability from law enforcement authorities.
In a video shared on social media late last night, Rita Daniels and her husband were seen thanking Nigerians for their support and prayers, confirming that they had finally found Sammy.
Details surrounding Sammy’s release remain unclear, and it is not yet known whether he will face court proceedings.
