Rt. Hon. Mrs Dorothy Mato, a member of the House of Representatives for Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State made significant impact on Mbatyough ward in Tsar, Mbaduku, Vandeikya LGA of Benue State through her free medical services on the platform of Dorothy Mato Foundation.
Hon Mato free medical services team on Saturday, 8th September, 2018 arrived at the Primary Health Care Center, Tsar, Mbaduku in continuation of her free medical care which began few months ago.
The project is a ward to ward medical outreach which is expected to cover all the wards in Vandeikya and Konshisha.
Before the team arrived Mbatyough, it had given free medical services at Betse, Nyumagba ward in Mbaduku on Friday, 7th September, 2018 before heading to Mbatyough.
The team treated many community members with various health challenges including operations which were carried out on some members with more complex problems.
A youth in the community who identified himself as Teryila, a student of Federal College of Education (FCE), Obudu Cross River State, thanked Hon Mato for the potent impact she is making on her constituency and appealed to her to grant scholarship to students from Vandeikya and Konshisha schooling at FCE.
An elder in the community known as Mr. Fanen said Mrs Mato is a woman who has given selfless services to her people right from when she was a member in the Benue State House of Assembly (BSHA) representing Kyan constituency. He encouraged her to continue in this light and she will emerge victorious in 2019 election.
