Plateau State – The President of the Ngas Development Association (NDA), Dr. Katkukah Danjuma Gokum, on behalf of the Ngas Elder’s Forum and the global Ngas community, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe as Minister-Designate for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. The NDA praised the appointment as a “masterstroke” that places a “round peg in a round hole.”

Dr. Gokum emphasized that Prof. Goshwe has built a distinguished career and strong reputation despite his humble beginnings. Known for his dedication to community service, Prof. Goshwe has developed a vast network of supporters both locally and internationally, having collaborated with development partners across America and Europe. His long-standing commitment to youth empowerment through educational and skill-building initiatives has also highlighted his readiness for his new role.

Prof. Goshwe, described by the NDA as the “Golden Son of Plateau,” has continued to inspire youths and support local causes, even after his gubernatorial bid in Plateau State. His philosophy of uplifting and inspiring others has earned him widespread admiration.

As the Senate proceeds with his screening, the NDA calls on all Nigerians to support Prof. Goshwe in his mission to address humanitarian and poverty-related challenges in Nigeria.
