Social media has been awash with reports claiming that Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s luxury boutique was set ablaze amid ongoing political unrest in the country.
However, his wife, Priscilla Ojo, has debunked the viral claims, clarifying that the store was not burnt down but rather looted during the chaos that followed Tanzania’s tense presidential election.
The Nigerian influencer and actress made the clarification in a post on her social media page, urging fans to disregard false reports circulating online.
Neither Juma Jux nor Priscilla provided further details about the extent of the damage or losses incurred.
