The UK tour of controversial Nigerian street artist, Portable, has been postponed following an ongoing police investigation into allegations that he assaulted Ogun State town planners.
Portable was originally scheduled to perform in the UK, but the tour has been put on hold.
The singer has been embroiled in controversy after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation with government officials at his bar in Ogun State.
While Portable’s management cited unforeseen circumstances for the tour’s postponement, the singer has taken to social media to request prayers from his fans, eliciting mixed reactions.
“PORTABLE UK TOUR POSTPONED TILL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO SOME UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES”, it reads.
