Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has criticised Nigerians who flaunt counterfeit iPhone 17 devices while lacking basic necessities such as a car or a stable home.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Zazuu Zeh crooner mocked people prioritising luxury gadgets over meaningful investments, describing the mindset as misplaced.
“You dey use iPhone 17, you no get four tyres — you go soon tire,” Portable said, warning that the craze for fake iPhones was fueling fraudulent activities.
“Una don bring thief, una don bring Chinese. They want to dupe you, una dey spoil people business,” he added.
The singer, known for his outspoken nature, has often stirred conversations on social media with his blunt takes on lifestyle and social trends.
