Music executive Soso Soberekon has urged family, friends and well-wishers to disregard what he described as negative narratives surrounding his recently concluded wedding.
His statement comes hours after comedian DeeOne publicly criticized singer Davido for not attending the star-studded ceremony, sparking discussions on social media.
In a post shared after the wedding, Soberekon expressed gratitude to everyone who celebrated the occasion with him and his wife, saying the love they received exceeded their expectations.
“My heart is overflowing with gratitude.
“Thank you to everyone who celebrated, prayed, supported and shared in the joy of our wedding. The love my wife and I received was beyond anything we ever imagined.
“One thing is certain: Love won.”
The music executive also appealed to the public to ignore negative conversations about the event, insisting that the ceremony was peaceful and memorable.
“Please ignore every negativity as we embrace love here. Our wedding was beautiful, peaceful and filled with genuine happiness,” he wrote.
Soberekon further clarified that only he can speak on matters concerning him.
“Finally, let me say this clearly: No one speaks for me. I speak for myself.
“Thank you all for making our day unforgettable. We love you all,” he added.
