
The Jos Darling team, Plateau United yesterday at the Jos Township Stadium defeated visiting Niger Tornadoes FC
Plateau United defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-0 on Sunday, to extend
their lead at the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
to six points.

Kabir Umar opened scoring in the added time of the first half, before
Philip Azango doubled their lead six minutes after the break.
It was Tornadoes first defeat in five matches.
Plateau United now have 20 points from nine fixtures.
Shooting Stars fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Katsina
United at the Muhammadou Dikko Stadium, while Abia Warriors suffered
their first home loss of the season, going down 1-0 to El-Kanemi
Warriors.

Remo Stars’ poor run continued, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by
Lobi Stars in Shagamu. The game between Nasarawa United and Sunshine
Stars also ended in a 1-1 draw.
There were no goals between Gombe United and Akwa United at the Pantani Stadium.
