Plateau State recorded the first case of coronavirus on Thursday evening when it was reported that a lady who came in from Kano later tasted positive making her the first person to test positive to COVID-19 in the state.
The NCDC later confirmed the recorded case of COVID-19 with the national update which it recorded 108 new cases nationally with an index case in plateau thereby taking the toll in Nigeria to 981.
