The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in
Plateau state, Chief Hon. Damishi Sango has described as “Super Frauds
and mischievous”, information making the round that he has been served
with a vacation letter.
Hon. Sango told Journalists on Monday Evening at the party office that he has
not received any letter from the National Secretariat of the party,
urging him to vacate his position.Sango
who was answering questions from a group of Journalists who stormed the
PDP secretariats, to get the true position of things, was captured
seating side by side with his deputy Amos Gombi and other principal
officers of the party.He said
the purported vacation letter is handiworks of mischief makers who want
to cause chaos and disharmony among party faithfuls.”
I have read the
letter on social Media, but as i speak to you, i have not received any
letter issued to me by the National secretariat, and what I read is
supper fraud.What does it wants
to achieve? Are you saying i am suspended as Chairman? If it is so, let
them come out clearly and state the reason. When have i been suspended
that you are asking some one to come to take over ftom my office.
What
does that mean? You want to cause choas.” I am a man of honor and l
expect that, a letter coming from such a body must be unambiguous, it
must be clear.”No body has ever invited me to the National Secretariat
to say to me you receive this letter and we want your response, up to
this time I am talking to you. I repeat, no body has invited me to say i
have received a petition against you and we want to hear the side of
your story. NO!”.
It was authoritatively gathered that, since the news of the appointment of the
Special Assistant to D.T. Sango on Media, Emmanuel Macham hits air
waves on Sunday evening, uneasy calm greeted the other faction of the
party in the state.They earlier
alleged that Sango faction was recruiting thuggs from Mangu Local
government to forcefully take over the party Secretariat in
Jos.Similarly, there were rumours that the National Secretariat has
served D.T . Sango with a sacked letter, and has asked one Theophilus
Dakan Shang to take over from him, all which Sango discribed as
falsehood.
However, a walked to the secretariat shows that there was no
prove or any form of threat, as Sango was seing conducting party affairs
peaceful with only few youths and women at the party secretariat.Sango has however appeals to party supporter to disregard antics of mischief makers.
