Youths from across the six local government areas of Plateau North Senatorial Zone have unanimously called on Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, former member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, to contest for the Plateau North Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.

At a gathering that drew thousands of young people, representatives from each local government area lauded Hon. Bagos’s track record in education, women and youth empowerment, and community development during his tenure at the National Assembly. The youths further assured Hon. Bagos of their unwavering support, vowing to mobilize at the grassroots level to strengthen his candidacy and also consolidate support for Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang’s administration.

In his response, Hon. Bagos expressed gratitude for the endorsement, pledging not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him. He urged the youths to remain politically active by electing leaders who would deliver genuine dividends of democracy, while also rallying continued support for Governor Mutfwang, whom he praised for providing purposeful and impactful leadership in Plateau State.
