The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong, Today 6th July, led a state delegation on condolence visit to the Governor Ganduje and Good people of Kano state on the demise of the Dan Masanin Kano-The late Alh Dr Yusuf Maitama Sule.
The late Maitama Sule was an elder statesman and patriot with an unconquerable believe in the indivisibility of Nigeria. He stood tall and unparalleled in his public condemnation of Corruption and bad Governance.
The Dan Masani will be greatly missed but remembered for all his contribution to Nation building.
In the company of the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Governor Lalong and his delegation visited Governor Abdullahi Ganduje at the Government House, the house of the deceased and the emir of Kano Alh Dr Mohammadu Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II at the emir’s palace and paid glowing tribute on the late Dan Masani whom he described as a detribalized rare gem who was firm believer in the unity of Nigeria.
The visit also accorded Governor Lalong the opportunity to formally convey His condolence In a letter to the Governor and the Emir of Kano state.
