Information reaching us reveals that Suspected Fulani
herdsman killed a father along side his Son. Sunday night of 14 July, 2019.
It
was gathered that the incident which occured at about 8.50pm close to
his house after attending choir practice with his parish members.Source
says Thomas Wollo, 46 years was killed and beheaded while his 6th son
Nggwe Thomas 7years were all killed by the suspected Fulani Militias in
Tafigana village in Bassa LGA of Plateau State.The Publicity Secretary
Miango Youth Development Association Zongo Lawrence told our
correspondent that the community has been experiencing daily attacks by
this Fulani in our communities, most especially on Sundays &
Thursdays during worship days or market days respectively.”They want to
displaced us by force and we are not ready to give up our lands for
them, no matter their evil act.The
attackers also went to a nearby village in Hukke & destroyed farm
produce worth millions of naira.”We are calling on the attention of the
government to look into the situation of such unlawful killings in our
communities. We are left without rescue, this year alone we lost 17 of
our people by this Fulani Militias who don’t want peace on the
Plateau.”International community please come to our aid, we are under
heavy siege”.
