The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) has announced a re-run of the local government elections for councillorship positions in six wards across four Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state.
According to PLASIEC, the re-run elections will take place in Kishika ward of Bassa LGA, Jemkur and Turaki wards of Langtang South LGA, Gindiri 2 and Kasuwan Ali wards of Mangu LGA, and Luukwo ward in Qua’an Pan LGA.
The commission has yet to specify the date for the re-run but assures that it will be announced soon.
PLASIEC Chairman, Plangji Daniel Cishak, encourages all eligible voters in the affected wards to stay informed and actively participate in this democratic process.
