The Wife of the Plateau State Governor, Her Excellency Regina Lalong in her bid to empower the Girl child in Plateau State has trained 300 students from 30 public secondary schools from the senatorial zone of Plateau State.
This is motivated by the recent development of computer based testing (e-exams) adapted for senior secondary schools graduates to gain admission into tertiary institutions, and the observed knowledge and skills gap in computer proficiency which adversely affects their performance.
Her Excellency introduced this project to equip children for the fast changing digital trend in our society.
A quiz competition between participating students from each zone took place and 9 students, 3 from each senatorial zone were given HP Laptops after the successful ICT-Cisco Get Connected Training.
