Today is the first year anniversary of the death of former Super Eagles
Coach, Stephen Keshi. The celebrated football coach died suddenly on
June 7th 2016 in Benin City, Edo state. He was 54.
Nigerian Super Eagles players who are currently in Akwa Ibom state training for
their upcoming Africa’s Cup of NAtion qualifying match against Bafana
Bafana of South Africa observed a one minute silence in honour of their
former coach, Late Stephen Keshi.
The Nigeria Football Federation NFF took to its twitter handle to remember him. May his soul continue to rest in peace, Amen.
