Catholic Pope Emeretus, Benedict XVI, who resigned as pontiff in 2013, was seen celebrating his 90th birthday with a Mug of beer in his hometown of Bavaria in Germany.
Photos was shared by a Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano, and Benedict was seen happily sipping a beer in company of friends and well wishers.
His brother, Monsignor Georg Ratzinger, also joined the party and enjoyed a beer. See photos below:
