The Plateau Northern Zone was celebrated today at the Jos Polo Ground ss Commercial activities continued at the Jos 2019 Trade Fair.
Plateau State Northern Zone Day, a combination of Six(6) Local Governments in the State (Barkin Ladi, Riyom, Basa, Jos North, Jos South and Jos East).
The occasion was marked with the presence of dignitaries, Elder State Men, Members of the Executive Council, Caretaker Committee Chairmen, Supervisory Counselors, Members of the Chambers, Exhibitors, the Press, Sons and Daughters of Plateau Northern Zone.
The chairman of the occasion, Commissioner for Special Duties, Intergovernmental & NGOs, Honorable Jerry Werr said that it was a moment to celebrate the cultural heritage of the Plateau Northern Zone people and despite the various challenges especially the crises that has bedeviled the zone in the past he enjoined his fellow statesmen to promote positivity and continue to showcase the endowment of the northern zone. He lastly thanked the current administration of Governor Simon Lalong, for the good policies which have encouraged economic activities thereby the consistency of the trade fair for four(4) consecutive years.
