The North Central Youths Movement officially lunched an advocacy campaign in support of the proposed bill for an act establishing the North Central Development Commission. The group is an advocacy group, a community of young people passionate about the development of the Six (6) states of the North Central Zone including the FCT.

It had in attendance members cutting across the Plateau, Nasarawa, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Benue and the FCT. The event which held on Saturday 10th of December 2016 at the Azi Nyako Youths Center also had in attendance the representatives and sponsor of the proposed NCDC Bill Hon. Timothy Ngolu (Member representing Pankshin Kanke Kanam Federal Constituency at the National Assembly) and that of the Commissioner of Youths & Sports Plateau State.
The SSA to the Governor of Plateau State, Mr Ezekiel Dauda Daschen who also graced the occasion charged all in attendance never to neglect days of little beginnings. The convener of the North Central Youths Movement Comrade Audu Alex Yibeikas charged all critical stakeholders to put aside their ethno-religious and political party differences and embrace the diversity of the North Central Geopolitical Zone for the progress of the zone, stating that the North Central Development Commission Bill as an opportunity to develop the entire six (6) states of the zone and the FCT
Comrade Muhammed Saba, the Niger State Coordinator of the group, while officially lunching the #istandwithNCDC thanked all attendees for their sacrifice and show of love for the development of the entire North Central Geopolitical Zone.

North Central Youths Movement is a community of young people passionate about the development of the entire seven states of the Geopolitical zone. These include Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Kogi, Kwara, Niger and FCT.
It is an advocacy group which acts as a scepter for promoting better political space & participation, good governance, peace and coexistence; rebuilding our societies affected by violent conflicts; better environmental protection, quality education and promotion of our cultural diversity for our progress. Irrespective of our Ethnic, Religious, Ideological and Political differences we can create a better future in UNITY.
