Governor
Simon Lalong has commended the positive contributions of the NSCDC in
promoting the territorial boundaries of the country and to also secure
the country from vandals through peaceful coexistence . 
The
Governor called on other sister agencies in the maintenance of peace
and pledged continuous support to enable them carry out their
responsibilities affectively.
Plateau
State Governor and new Chairman of the Northern Governors forum said he
will use his experience to unite the people and surmount the security
challenge in the north.
Lalong
who stated this when he visited the commandant of the Nigeria Security
and Civil Defence Corps at the headquarters in Abuja stressed the need
for tolerance and unity among Nigerians for peace to prevail.
