The Post dissolution meeting of H. E Governor Simon Bako Lalong with Immediate past transition committee chairmen and council members of the seventeen local government of plateau state held at the new Government House Rayfield, Jos. On the 5th July 2017.
Governor Simon Bako Lalong appreciated the former transition committee chairmen and council members for their support in restoring peace on the plateau and in ensuring stability in the administration of the Various Councils. He also appealed to former Management Committee members to see themselves as ambassador of the Rescue Administration in their various Local Government Areas and the State at large.
The governor also assured the former transition committee that when need for their services arise in the future he will be expecting that they will avail themselves for same. Responding on behalf of the former transition committee chairmen and council members of the seventeen local government. Hon Steve Jings chairman (ALGON) Thanked the governor, government and the party(APC) for considering them first, for the appointment and for allowing it to stay for these long. He also thanked the governor for not interfering in the activities of the local government all through the period of their tenure.
