As parts of events to mark his 60th birthday and foundation launch, Dr. Panam Percy Paul and his team paid a courtesy call to the General Manager of PRTV.
In his address, Dr. Panam
appreciated PRTV for their support and how they’ve been instrumental in
promoting gospel music . He went on to mention how magnanimous the city of Jos
has been in being the home to some of the greatest music artistes in Nigeria.

He made a
plea to the management of the station to include gospel music countdown as one
of it’s major programs and to give gospel music more air play, not necessarily to
promote gospel ministers but to promote morals in and good behavior as most of the songs
on the airways today promote sex which brings a negative influence
especially on the young ones.
He went on
to inform them that this 60th anniversary would double as the launch of
the Panam Foundation which is aimed at catering for children who lost their parents
to violence and that two songs have been recorded to be released for this
cause.

This year also marks his 43 years in
ministry and 53 years in music.
The General Manager
in his address, thanked Dr Panam Percy paul and his team. He welcomed the idea of increasing
gospel music content on the airways.
The visit
ended with a presentation of two cds to the General Manager.
