Yahaya Salauwa, vice-principal of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina state has confirmed that all the abducted students have returned.
Salauwa said this at the Katsina state government house where the freed schoolboys were hosted.
Noting that their abduction was traumatizing, the Vice Principal added that he has seen all the abducted students and also very excited to see them alive.
He said;
“I can confirm to you that the student I saw were all our students and we’re extremely excited to see them alive.
“We can’t forget the day they were abducted, we were all traumatised and became sleepless praying for their safe return. I can tell you that all the students are complete and none is missing.”
The 344 Kankara schoolboys who were released from captivity on Thursday, December 17, have arrived in Katsina state from Zamfara state.
They arrived the Katsina state government house this morning and were received by the state governor, Aminu Masari. The boys looked tired and most of them had no shoes or slippers on. Some of them had injuries on their feet.
