Popular digital creator and streamer Peller has shaved his head in solidarity with his newly wedded wife, Jarvis, following intense criticism over her appearance.
Jarvis had faced widespread backlash and insults online after she appeared with a bald hairstyle following her white wedding to Peller in Lagos last Saturday.
In a video shared online on Friday morning, Peller was seen at a barbershop preparing to shave his own head.
Explaining his decision, the content creator said he wanted to surprise his wife by matching her hairstyle and showing his support amid the criticism she had received.
“I want to barb skodo to surprise my wife. Because she barb skodo, everybody is abusing her and talking a lot about her,” he said.
Peller subsequently revealed his new look to Jarvis, who appeared pleased and delighted by the gesture.
The gesture has since attracted reactions online, with many praising Peller for standing by his wife and showing solidarity with her despite the criticism.
