The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Acting National Chairman Umar Damagum, on Wednesday, held an emergency meeting following the Supreme Court’s dismissal of a motion seeking to halt the removal of Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary.
This marks the first official meeting of the party’s leadership since the apex court rejected Anyanwu’s request for a stay of execution on the High Court ruling that ousted him and affirmed Hon. Sunday Udeh-Okoye as his replacement.
