The Hausa–Fulani Group of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jos North has announced the resolution of all internal differences within its fold, marking a new phase of unity, cooperation, and progress.

In a communiqué issued on October 28, 2025, and signed by the PDP Hausa–Fulani Reconciliation Committee, the group disclosed that after a series of constructive engagements, all stakeholders and members had agreed to reconcile and work together harmoniously as one united family.

The statement commended the immediate past State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Chris Adakuchili Hassan, and the outgoing State Executive Committee for their “patriotic stewardship” and crucial role in reclaiming power for the PDP during the 2023 general elections. The group praised their sacrifice, resilience, and strategic leadership, describing them as a source of inspiration to party members across Plateau State.

While congratulating the newly elected State Executive Committee led by Hon. Raymond Dabo, the group expressed confidence in his capacity to strengthen the PDP through visionary leadership. They described Dabo as a “seasoned strategist and experienced politician” whose leadership would consolidate the party’s base and further weaken opposition elements.

The communiqué also condemned what it called a “malicious campaign of calumny” allegedly sponsored by opposition figures, who have falsely claimed that Hon. Dabo is a convicted individual. The group clarified that Dabo was “duly charged, cleared, and acquitted by a competent court of law,” describing the allegations as desperate attempts to distract the party from its renewed mandate of service and inclusiveness.

Reaffirming their commitment to the PDP’s success at both the state and local government levels, the group said the reconciliation represents a renewed chapter of trust and collective responsibility aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots support.

The Hausa–Fulani PDP Group also extended appreciation to elders, mediators, and members of the reconciliation committee for their timely intervention and wisdom in facilitating the peace process.

Furthermore, the group reiterated its unwavering support for the administration of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, commending his people-oriented leadership and commitment to peace, unity, and development in Plateau State. They pledged total support for his re-election bid.

“With renewed energy and shared purpose, we stand united to support the PDP and ensure its triumph in all forthcoming political engagements and elections for the benefit of our people and our beloved Plateau State,” the statement concluded.
