The Edo State House of Assembly, today, Monday, impeached its Speaker, Hon Justin Okonoboh.
Okonoboh was impeached by lawmakers during Monday’s plenary in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
A new speaker, Hon. Kabiru Ajoto, was immediately elected by lawmakers as the new Speaker.
