NUMBER 6. DAVID ONIMISI KING: David King was Born 12th September, hails from Kogi state, Okene. A Graduate of Accounting from the University of Jos and is happily married to one wife
He enjoys cycling, writing poetry and playing basketball.
He has vast experience in broadcasting Holding down the Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 Jos for years now, easily referred to as the “king on radio” He has won various awards for being the best radio presenter on the plateau.
David King is also a spoken word poetry artist with an album
titled “The King’s Speech”. with common words like “I will get rich but I won’t die trying”
David King can be described as the dude with many parts and talents.
Apart from being an Accountant or spoken word
poet, he is also a writer, witty sports presenter, motivational speaker and
relationship consultant. He is a man with facts on his finger tips and
for that reason his friends often call him the Human Encyclopedia.
Before joining Rhythm FM Jos, he worked briefly as an accountant in a
private firm, a compere, and fitness trainer.
David King began to
develop an interest in broadcasting after listening to Jacob Akinyemi
Johnson (JAJ) back then at Radio Nigeria and later at Rhythm FM Lagos.
He lists JAJ, and Oprah Winfrey as his inspirations.
He is an advocate for peace and harmony within the society, yes he inspires even the market woman when he is on radio and brings out creativity thereby occasionally distinguishing himself from other presenters.

NUMBER 5. AKUME AKUME: He is one of the popular Nigerian artistes based in Jos,
the Plateau State capital. He is an actor, model and a musician. He
recently Launched a project to create awareness and fight Prostate
cancer, using his talent to raise funds and some of his proceeds from movie making,
from fashion house and assistance from family and friends abroad with
few individuals who are helping to make this a reality.
Akume is known to have written songs on societal ills especially in the
northern part of the country where he is based, blends easily with
different ethnic groups in the country because of his multiple
background. Though he hails from Benue State, his fluency in Hausa, his
mother tongue, Tiv and Yoruba and always gives him an edge over other
artists.
Today, Akume is one of the biggest stars in Nigeria because he has acted
in major movies in the country. He has featured in English, Yoruba and
Hausa movies. His music entitled Babyallah which is aimed at
discouraging child-begging in northern Nigeria has gained popularity has
become a household song among Northerners.
Despite his fame he has remained in Jos; believing that this is where he
became a star shine and it is from this tin city he would become known
all over the world, you can Carefully call him the face of entertainment
on this part of the world (middle belt/ northern Nigeria) He has also
tirelessly encouraged youths with passion for the industry as he mentors
them and uses his story and presence as a major boost.
