Plateau United FC since the start of the 2017 Nigerian Professional Football League have shown the mark of true champions.
MatchDay 34: Plateau United hosted second- placed MFM FC at the Rwang Pang Stadium, Jos
in a fixture that would decide where the title ends up and perhaps the moment we have all been
waiting for – the matchup between the top two sides in the league.
After both team’s played out a draw last weekend the game was set up to be a classic fixture. The epic clash between both sides witnessed a capacity crowed in Jos. Plateau United wasted little time in the start of the game as early in the 4th minute Ibe Johnson gave the Jos team an early lead with a spectacular finish. Despite a hard fight from MFM FC the game ended 1-0 in favour of the host. A crucial result that further affirms Plateau United’s spot on top of the Log and as probable League Champions.
