Nigerian skitmaker and influencer Chinonso Ukah, popularly known as Nons Miraj, has raised concerns among fans after she was hospitalised shortly following her appearance at Papaya Ex’s movie premiere.
The comedian arrived at the event in a striking purple feathered gown to support her friend, but reportedly collapsed moments after taking photos on the red carpet. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she received urgent medical attention.
In an update shared on her Instagram page, Nons Miraj attributed the incident to stress and insufficient rest, saying her demanding schedule had taken a toll on her health.
Clips posted on her page showed the content creator lying on a hospital bed with IV fluids attached and a blood pressure monitor strapped to her arm.
Expressing gratitude, she thanked those who reached out and applauded her team for their quick support during the health scare. She also urged her fanbase, known as Hunters, to continue supporting her and her loved ones.
She wrote:
“One moment you’re strong and the next moment you’re in the hospital. 😭🙏 Thank you Jesus for everything because in all situations I’ll continue to give thanks.
Dressed up to go support my girl @papaya_ex for her movie premiere only for me to end up fainting after taking my pictures. Rest is underrated and honestly people don’t see my behind the scenes.
I always make sure to show up correct in full glam and turn up for everyone no matter how busy my schedule is, and yesterday just made me realize how much work I do with less time to rest. I’m so tired and grateful to everyone who reached out ❤️.”
Her team has not released further details, but fans continue to send prayers and well-wishes for her recovery.
